Year 6 went on their Residential to Whitemoor Lakes Outdoor Activity Centre, near Lichfield, from Monday 24 to Wednesday 26 June.
We had three days of fun indoor and outdoor activities: raft building, zip lining, fire lighting, climbing the traverse course, fencing and canoeing – we even found time to watch the England football match.
Children had a chance to try something that they had never tried before. Many children faced their fear of heights or water and were able to climb to the top of the leap of the traverse course or zip lining whilst upside down!
All the children had a wonderful time and teachers were so proud of how they represented New Hall, with instructors consistently praising their enthusiasm and manners.
