New Hall’s World Book Day celebrations took place on Friday 8th March and all of our fabulous children looked amazing! Thank you to everyone for the super effort you put in to the costumes.
We had vocabulary parades where we were all able to learn lots of new words, top secret book challenges and of course, lots and lots of reading and sharing beautiful books.
We hope the buzz created around school during days like this helps the children renew their love of reading and find new books that they enjoy. Reading fluently and for pleasure makes such a difference to children and helps them feel more confident in all subjects across the curriculum.
We really hope everyone had a lot of fun and came home talking about all of their fabulous new book knowledge and vocabulary that they gained during World Book Day.
