New Hall Primary School: Love to Learn

Year 4 visited Warwick Castle as a conclusion to our theme lessons on Crime and punishment.

When we first arrived to the castle, we were greeted with a view of beautiful peacocks roaming around the grounds.

Both classes had a workshop on attack and defence and learnt how enemies tried to enter the castle many years ago. Who knew – hot poo!

During our lunch hour, we were very lucky to be able to watch the birds of prey spectacular show where numerous rare birds flew very closely to our heads! We were shocked how huge they were.

Children also visited the horrible histories maze and climbed the many steps to reach the top of the castle tower.

What a fabulous day we had!
