Attendance Information

Attendance Matters

Good attendance helps children learn, make progress and enjoy school. We expect all children to attend every day unless they are genuinely unwell or there is another authorised reason.

If Your Child is Absent

Please contact the school by 9.30am on the first day of absence and keep us updated if the absence continues. Make sure the school always has up-to-date contact details and emergency contacts.

Illness and Appointments

  • Children should attend school whenever possible.
  • Medical and dental appointments should be arranged outside school hours where possible.
  • Evidence of appointments may be requested.
  • Children should attend school before or after appointments if possible.
