December brought with it lots of festivities, including our Early Years and Key Stage 1 ‘Stories at Six’ events.
Over three evenings, children (and lots of adults!) returned to school in their pyjamas ready for Christmas stories around the Christmas tree. Twinkly lights, a roaring fire, hot chocolate, cakes and lots of blankets put us all in the mood for a festive story and reminded us of the importance – and joy – of reading a story together.
